She was personally responsible for the development of the point-of-sale graphics for Caffè Nero, including the iconic loyalty card, whose print run has now run into the millions.
In her spare time she paints and writes. Her illustrated book ‘The Complete Guide to Uninvited Advice on Raising Children’ was published by Hodder and Stoughton.
Will became a Partner in Positive2 in 2000. He is a graduate of the London College of Communication and previously worked in the creative partnership Fearlessbeaven who staged several acclaimed art exhibitions and produced sleeve artwork for the band Death in Vegas.
Before becoming a partner at Positive he held freelance positions at several high profile design agencies including Tor Pettersen and Partners, The Team and Bostock and Pollitt. His strengths are in typography, website design and project management and over the years has worked in a range of sectors for clients ranging from Tescos to the Samaritans. Will also played keyboards professionally for a number of years and currently spends his free time playing drums in a local rock band.
‘Positive2 were involved with Caffè Nero from a very early stage and were instrumental in coming up with some of our most iconic designs. Their approach is professional and straightforward and avoids jargon or cliches and they seem to grasp the key elements of a brand, identity or promotion very quickly. It is rare that their first draft is not close to what I am looking for. They are also lovely people to work with.’
‘Alice and Will are amazing to work with. They are very professional and solutions oriented and most importantly, creative! I worked with them on a global report on neglected tropical diseases which involved multiple stakeholders across different time zones and to crazy deadlines. They took all of this in their stride and took a lot of the stress and pressure away from me. I was thrilled with the final product and so were the partners. I will definitely work with this team again and I cannot recommend them enough!’
Uniting to Combat NTDs
‘Alice and Will at Positive2 provide a consistently high level of service. They are incredibly easy to work with, and skilled in understanding and translating a client brief to deliver on-brand and engaging creative solutions. Their personal approach offered many advantages, with easy access to discuss ideas and troubleshoot. Positive2 quickly became an extension to my team, working well with our internal designer and brand manager. I’d highly recommend Positive2 if you are after reliable, professional and personable creative support.’
